My one concern with this idea is that tricks can be thought of as presentational building blocks. The trick isn&#039;t its own work of art in the same way that a word isn&#039;t its own poem.

I don&#039;t know if that makes sense at all. I guess I&#039;m just an optimist. No, I can&#039;t think of any good ways of performing Electric Touch off the top of my head (and yeah, it does mortify me to think of using it myself), but I resist claims that it&#039;s impossible to do it well. Admittedly it would require more responsibility on the part of the artist than many magicians are willing to put into their performance, hence the almost certain disaster.</description>
