		<description>I think it more likely that the prevalence of movie special effects and exposure programs on television, combined with a general decrease in superstition (despite the number of people who believe in ghosts and UFOs), has reduced the willingness of spectators to credit magicians with supernatural abilities. Without at least some credibility we are reduced to being puzzlers no matter how skillful we may be. I love watching magicians even though I know how it&#039;s done, but not many are.</description>
